TeleHealth

It’s Now Easy To See Your Provider from Anywhere

To prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, patient visits will be conducted via TeleHealth, Telephone, and Hybrid Visits.

Who decides if a telehealth visit is right for you?

UMMA will assess your care needs as well as safety factors related to COVID-19 to determine if you should be seen in-person or by a video visit using telemedicine. Clinicians are initially using telehealth to evaluate the need for an in-person visit.

Video Visits:

  • The patient can talk to and see the nurse or provider in real-time, similar to a Facetime or Zoom call with a family member or friends. Simply log on to umma.doxy.me at your appointment time.  More information below.
  • Call 323-789-5610 if you have questions regarding your TeleHealth appointment.
  • This is a secure video appointment.
  • There are no downloads or accounts.
  • No need to download software or create an account. Just use a browser on a computer or device with a camera and microphone.

For Telephone Appointments:

  • The patient can talk to and see the nurse or provider in real-time through a regular phone call. Your clinician will call you at the phone number on record at your appointment time.
  • If you wish to be called at a different number, call 323-789-5610 during our normal business hours.

Hybrid Visits:

  • The patient can talk to and see the nurse and support staff in-person and the provider in real-time over video, similar to a Facetime or Zoom call with a family member or friends.
  • Hybrid visits will happen at the UMMA Community Clinic.
