Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Syed holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Service from the University of California, Davis. Mr. Syed has also completed notable fellowships including the Blue Shield of California Foundation Clinic Leadership Institute Emerging Leaders Program.

Yohanna Barth-Rogers, MD

Chief Medical Officer,

Dr. Barth-Rogers is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She graduated from Smith College with a degree in Philosophy. She went to the Medical School for International Health and completed her residency at the Long Beach Memorial Family Medicine Program.

Jimmy Ozaeta

Chief Advancement Officer,

Mr. Ozaeta holds a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Scientific and Social Perspectives with an emphasis in Assessment, and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Movements from San Francisco State University. Mr. Ozaeta has served in the non-profit sector for over 20 years in several senior executive roles.

Alejandra Murillo

Chief Finance Officer,

Ms. Murillo received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley and a Certificate in Accounting from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is currently completing her Master of Science in Accountancy with Boise State University. Ms. Murillo holds over 15 years of nonprofit financial management experience.
