Caring for the less fortunate is a fundamental part of the Muslim culture. That is why UMMA founded their clinic in the heart of South Los Angeles, a struggling community trying to climb it’s way out of debilitating poverty.

In its 15-year partnership, UMMA has provided health care to over 25,000 members of this community, having provided 11,000 patient visits in 2010 alone.
